Created during the unprecedented stillness of 2020, the Step Into Your Light series is a deeply personal celebration of the magic and connection found in live entertainment. As a professional Stage Manager, my pre-pandemic life revolved around the energy of the theatre, where performers and audiences came together to create something extraordinary. When the world went quiet, I found myself longing for that shared experience—the kind that makes our hearts beat as one.

Live entertainment has a unique power to unite us. Studies show that when a group gathers to watch theatre, dance, or any live performance, their heartbeats synchronize—a profound reminder of our shared humanity. In the absence of these communal moments, I turned to my art to honor what we were missing: the collective rhythm, the joy of connection, and the light we bring to one another.
