Summertime

'Summertime' is a 12x12 mixed media painting

Crafted in 2022, this piece was created using a combination of acrylic inks, water-soluble graphite, and finished with the luscious tones of oil. The artwork was created during a playful exploration of new techniques.  My love for water-soluble graphite led me to experiment with incorporating it into my paintings. I was drawn to the unpredictable feel of the medium and the contrast it adds to my work.
